The Able Two is a boutique strategic and creative studio founded by Anne James and Jaki Gerulskis. We combine rigorous cultural research with documentary-quality visual production — the kind of partnership that's usually impossible to find in a single studio.
Working across the US and EU.
Anne is a digital anthropologist and strategic advisor with a track record in AI and tech marketing. She helped position Run:ai ahead of its acquisition by NVIDIA, and contributed to Boxever's growth ahead of its acquisition by Sitecore. At Integrated Projects and UrbanVolt, she worked on two category-creating products — developing go-to-market strategies for markets that didn't yet have a name.
She founded and sold Zymbol, a print literary magazine distributed nationally through Barnes & Noble and Ingram, acquired by a publishing conglomerate after five years. She holds an MSc in Cultural History from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Boston University, and sits on the board of PhotoIreland / International Centre for the Image.
LinkedInJaki is a live events producer, photographer, and videographer with over a decade of experience creating brand experiences across the performing arts, hospitality, and corporate sectors. He has managed everything from intimate fine art exhibition openings to large-scale concerts, drag nights, weddings, and experiential marketing activations.
His work bridges the logistical and the visual — he doesn't just document events, he architects them. Co-founder of Lisbon Street Photo Fest, he brings a community-builder's instinct to every production. Based in Lisbon, working across Europe.
